You want the freedom and flexibility of homeschooling. You just need a clear path through all the choices, opinions, and things you're worried about getting wrong.
Learnstead gives Indiana families the structure to turn that instinct into a confident school year — so you walk away feeling empowered, not overwhelmed.
You've probably asked yourself:
After hours of searching online, you may feel even more overwhelmed than when you started. The truth is, most new homeschool parents don't need more information — they need a clear path forward.
With the right guidance, homeschooling can feel structured, peaceful, and rewarding.
HOW LEARNSTEAD HELPS
Learnstead gives you the support you actually need — whether you want simple downloadable tools or one-on-one guidance from a homeschool consultant.
You already know your child better than anyone — that's your greatest advantage. We give you the tools and structure to channel it into a clear, organized school year without the guesswork.
Your consultant builds a clear plan around your child's needs, learning style, and grade level — then stays available throughout the year for offline support as questions come up. When something feels uncertain, you'll always have someone to turn to.
We don't create the curriculum — we help you choose and use it well. Some families want DIY tools, others want hands-on coaching. Pick the level of support you need without paying for services you don't.
From lesson planning to record-keeping, we simplify the parts of homeschooling that feel overwhelming and time-consuming.

Quick answers for families considering Learnstead.
No. Learnstead was designed specifically for families who are new to homeschooling and don't know where to start.
No. Indiana has no teacher certification requirement for homeschool parents. You don't need a degree, a license, or any formal training — just the commitment to show up for your child.
Very little. State registration is completely optional — you don't need a permit or approval to begin. If your child is currently enrolled in school, the main step is notifying that school that you're withdrawing them. There's no required form for K–8 families, but a written notice or email is the safest approach. If your child has never been enrolled in school, no notification is needed at all.
Sessions are one-on-one video calls with an experienced homeschool consultant. They'll review your child's grade level, learning style, and your schedule, then give you a clear plan to move forward. Sessions are 60 minutes and can be booked as-needed or as part of the Annual plan.
That's exactly why we offer multiple support options — from affordable downloadable tools to more hands-on coaching.
Yes. All paid plans — including the Tools subscription and the Annual plan — come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Just reach out within 30 days and we'll return your money in full. The one exception: if you're on the Annual plan and a consultant session has already taken place, that session fee will be deducted from your refund.
